New Group Name!
Today is an exciting day! We've renamed our group to the $250k Biz Launch Community! Our mission is to help new entrepreneurs get their businesses started and growing the right way. Most new businesses have a product, marketing strategy, funding, etc. Whether you're a digital marketer, Amazon reseller, crypto trader, or anything else, you've probably taken your time and are learning how to grow your business's sales and profits. In my experience as a CPA, very few business owners have the OTHER HALF of their business covered: things like setting up an LLC correctly, keeping business records and a good set of books, and basic tax compliance and strategy. Most everyone either throws an LLC together themselves and does their best to keep track of all of their business transactions; never feeling comfortable that they are doing it right. Others go to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube looking for advice, but who knows if the information you're getting is any good? What qualifications or experience do they have to give it? As a CPA, I cringe at 90% of everything I hear being taught. You have a better chance of going to jail for tax evasion than you do for getting it right if social media is your source of truth. Still others outsource to a professional accountant or lawyer who has hundreds of other clients they must attend to, trusting and hoping their "guy" will give them enough attention and do it right. Regardless, professional fees add up QUICKLY! The more questions you ask, the more they CHARGE! A professional will often help create a roadmap and do simple filings, but many don't realize it is still the business owner's job to understand what needs to be done on a day-to-day basis in managing the business's financial resources. This is NOT a great recipe for success or does it ensure you spend your precious dollars wisely and get the attention your business deserves. In this group, our dedicated focus is to "fill the gap" during the first few years. From the time you start your business until you reach the $250k mark, we will help you get the compliance-side of your business right the first time.

What's the Impact of the "Big Beautiful Bill" on Small Businesses?
Part 2 -----> 🤑 Higher tax break on state/local taxes People who live in states with high taxes (like California, New York, or New Jersey) can now deduct more of those payments on their federal tax returns. This doesn’t change how much you owe your state, but it can lower your federal tax bill. For small business owners, this might free up money that would otherwise be lost to double taxation. It’s especially helpful if you own property or pay high state business taxes. Think of it as an extra bit of relief in high-tax areas. 🧒 Childcare help for employers Businesses now get a bigger tax break if they help cover childcare for their employees. That means you could offer childcare benefits and have the government help you pay for it through tax savings. Families can also put aside more pre-tax money for daycare or after-school programs. This helps both sides: employers can attract and keep staff, and employees save money on childcare. For a small business, offering this perk might give you an edge in hiring and keeping good people. 💚 Green energy rollback The bill removes or cuts back tax incentives for solar panels, wind projects, and other renewable energy. If your business was planning to “go green” with solar panels, the savings won’t be as generous as before. For businesses in industries that rely on clean energy, this could mean slower growth or higher costs. On the other hand, traditional energy costs (like oil and gas) may remain lower. This is a mixed bag depending on where your business fits into the energy picture.

What's the Impact of the "Big Beautiful Bill" on Small Businesses?
Part 1 -----> 💸Lower taxes for business owners -> This bill makes permanent a tax break for small businesses like LLCs and S-Corps. It means that instead of paying taxes on every dollar of profit, you can keep about 20% of it tax-free. That’s money that stays in your pocket or can be reinvested in your business. For example, if your shop made $100,000 in profit, you’d only pay taxes on about $80,000. This can make a big difference in your cash flow and growth potential. 💻 Write off equipment faster -> Normally, when you buy big items for your business—like trucks, computers, or kitchen equipment—you have to spread the tax deduction out over many years. The new rule lets you write off the full cost the same year you buy it. That means if you buy a $20,000 delivery van, you can reduce this year’s taxes by $20,000 instead of waiting. This makes it easier to afford upgrades when your business needs them. 🚜 Bigger spending allowance - > There’s also a higher cap on how much equipment, software, or tools you can deduct in one year. The old limits meant some businesses had to spread out deductions and wait to see tax savings. Now, the cap is much higher—up to a few million dollars—so even mid-sized companies can take full deductions upfront. For small business owners, this mostly means you won’t hit the ceiling anytime soon. It gives you more freedom to invest without worrying about tax rules getting in the way.
