Heavy editors..

When it comes to revealing the gallery to your clients to let them choose the pictures they like.. I understand that some people show quite a few photos and let the client choose the ones they prefer. I was wondering how to go about this when it comes to editing.

For the people who prefer subtle edits do you edit all your photos before presenting? (Eg: 40 photos etc)

And for the clients who edit abit heavier (which is what I’m trying to start doing more of) ho do you go about it? Do you let the clients choose the photos.. do you choose the photos yourself. And how much editing do you do when letting them choose? Because it takes me a while to edit my photos like below and to edit 40 photos for them to choose from I’d be editing for weeks 😂

Also.. for the ones who edit heavier.. how many photos do you usually finalise as part of their package etc.
