With everyone stocking up lately, let's talk about lyophilized (powder) peptide storage and realistic timeframes:
❄️ Short Term (0-6 months)
Keep your peptides either:
- Room temp in a cold, dark place (drawer/cabinet away from heat)
- In the fridge (my preference for peace of mind)
🧊 Medium Term (6-12 months)
Store directly in the fridge. This is the sweet spot for most people's rotation.
🥶 Long Term (1-5 years)
For the serious stockpilers:
- Freezer or deep freezer is your friend
- Use desiccant packets (those little silica gel packs) to prevent any moisture buildup
- Keep them sealed tight
Important disclaimer: These are opinions based on anecdotal feedback from the community and my own research. Peptide stability can vary by compound, and manufacturer recommendations should always be your starting point.
The key enemies? Heat, light, and moisture. Protect against those and your lyophilized peptides should stay stable for quite a while.
