If you take anything from this learning process, take “No Learning Happens Inside The Comfort Zone.” You’ll see dogs come in with barely any coping skills. They choose flight/escape, freeze/paralysis or fight when their free movement, free choices no longer exists.
Yeah, because they’re never made to work THROUGH an UNCOMFORTABLE feeling to a COMFORTABLE one. We coddle, we give in.
You’ll see this FULLY on each dog’s intake day. The dog always tells the truth. We just plant the story and narrative.
