I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately about life, the directions it takes us, and how sometimes the things we once wanted so badly aren't necessarily the things we want today. When I created Pathway to Connection, I had a vision. I had hopes and ideas about what this space could become, and I put my time, energy, and heart into bringing it to life. And I'm glad I did! But life has a funny way of taking us places we never anticipated. There have been twists and turns, unexpected opportunities, new adventures, and some pretty incredible realizations. And somewhere along the way, the things that light me up and where I want to spend my time and energy have shifted. So where does that leave Pathway to Connection? Right here! I'm not closing the doors or saying goodbye. I'm simply recognizing that this isn't where I'm feeling called to put my attention on a regular basis right now. Maybe I'll pop in and share something tomorrow. Maybe it'll be a month from now. Who knows? I'm letting go of the expectation that I need to show up just for the sake of showing up. And here's the thing. Most of you already know me! You have my phone number! Those connections don't begin and end inside this community. If you want to talk, reach out! If there's something I can help you with, ask. If you just want to say hello, I'd love to hear from you. I'm still here for each and every one of you. I think one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is permission to change our minds, change directions, and follow whatever feels right for us in the moment. Just because something mattered yesterday doesn't mean it has to take up the same space in our lives tomorrow. And that doesn't diminish what it meant or the wonderful things that came from it. So I'm leaving the door open, letting go of the obligations, and allowing whatever comes next to unfold. And isn't that what this whole journey is about anyway? Learning to trust ourselves enough to live the life we actually want to live. 💜
