The old me would have been frustrated
I had loads planned today. Getting the garden prepared for winter when it’s not colder than Arendelle after an Elsa meltdown was something I finally wanted to achieve.
Then my son got sick and has been hit by a stomach bug that’s lasted about 12 hours.
The ‘old me’ would have tried looking after him, getting all those jobs done, working on my business and everything in between. Failing at all of it and then becoming stressed that I’m not the dad, business man, cleaner etc I wanted to be.
The ‘now me’ recognizes that it’s a choice and I choose to look after my son.
With cheer competitions for my daughter, and my wife and I having lots going on at work we desperately the rest of my household to avoid this!
