Another linocut converted to Mixed Media - I was busy this weekend
When I attempted my Comfy Crappie linocut prints earlier this year, I had a lot of "mistake" prints. It is an 11x14-inch linocut. Ones that I didn't feel met my criteria for being sellable. Not enough coverage for the ink-type stuff that makes the image just not land right. I had done this with roses, so I wanted to try it out with the Crappie. Here is the kind of before and after. I forgot to take a picture of it beforehand, but it basically was a "not quality" version of the first image. I think I found it in some of my original photos to help you get the idea.
So Comfy Crappie became Spring Crappie
I am pretty happy with the outcome.
