When the game speeds up, slow your breath.
Quick reminder as you head into the week, when points start to feel rushed, your first adjustment isn’t with the racket… it’s with your breath. A calm exhale between points resets your rhythm and clears tension faster than any technical cue. Try this today: between points, take one deep breath, exhale fully, and say to yourself “HERE & NOW.” Curious — what’s something you do to reset between points when things get tight? 👇
The point isn’t to play perfectly.. it’s to play presently. 🌊
Quick reminder for everyone (myself included) 👇 In padel and in life tension kills flow. When you’re gripping the racket too tight, thinking about the last mistake, or trying to “force” a win… your body locks up. The shift happens when you let go. Loosen the grip. Focus on your breath. When your body is calm, your shots flow more naturally. What’s something you do to get back into flow when things start slipping?
