I often tell people that I'm not really a dog trainer.

I'm a relationship coach for dogs and humans.

Because most behavior problems don't start with a lack of training.

They start with a lack of understanding.

For 15+ years I've worked with dogs every day, helped thousands of dogs and owners, and taught dog psychology for over a decade.

Through that experience, I've found that when people truly understand what their dog is communicating, behavior change becomes much easier.

The goal isn't simply treats, management, medications, or training techniques.

The goal is a harmonious relationship between you and your dog built on trust, respect, and love.

If you really want to know and understand dogs, this is where you should be. I have watched many other trainers and read many, many books and there is just not much out there that explains dog psychology let alone how to communicate on their terms. I’ve even taken canine behavior classes at a college and they didn’t do half the job that Steve does. Just try it, I guarantee you’ll learn a lot.
