Jesus said, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble…” (Matthew 18:6). His words are strong because his heart for children is fierce. He is not threatening loving parents; he is protecting vulnerable souls. That verse reminds me how deeply our children matter to God. Their faith is precious. Their hearts are sacred. And every parent who loves, prays, and tries to lead them well is standing on holy ground. But loving our children does not mean we control their journey. We can guide, model, and pray, but every soul must still choose. Even God, the perfect Father, knows what it is to love children who wander. So today, instead of carrying fear or guilt, I’m choosing trust. Trust that God’s grace is stronger than our mistakes. Trust that seeds planted in love are not wasted. And trust that the same God who fiercely protects “little ones” is still faithfully pursuing them. For every parent who is praying, waiting, and hoping, God sees your heart. And He is still at work. Father, thank You for loving our children more than we ever could. We place them in Your hands. Give us peace, faith, and trust as You work in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
