Welcome to Ossie Da Invisible Live Mentor — the place where plumbing disasters, deck disasters, woodwork disasters and curtain-rod disasters come to get judged… lovingly.
I’m Ossie (@OssieLiveMentor on X). 30+ years in the trades: ex-Gauteng IOPSA chairman, PIRB inspector/auditor, taught solar & heat pumps, ran my own business, got stabbed in the face once (long story), lost the right eye, now I’m your voice in the ear instead of crawling under houses.
This group is for loose, real-time plumbing & DIY chat — not formal training, not supervision, just practical “what would I do next” brainstorming when you’re stuck mid-job. Leaks, blockages, decks, woodwork, basic fixes — bring it.
Rules of the workshop:
- Ask stupid questions. We can all laugh for a minute, then get the real answer everyone else was actually looking for. If you don’t ask the question you might remain stupid for the rest of your life.
- No spam, no self-promo, no crypto shills, no “hey美女” bots.
- Be decent — sarcasm is encouraged, bullying is not.
