The World
This is the final card of the Major Arcana and a very important one for you to understand
The World sees the Fools journey come to a joyful conclusion, for the number 3 (21 = 2 + 1) is a number reflecting harmony, enthusiasm, advancement, and success.
When the card appears in a reading it is a cause for celebration for the journey one has been on has successfully reached its end. All lessons have been learned, all tasks completed, all obstacles overcome and mastered. Note that the figure is surrounded by a never ending loop of rope; no beginning, no end. The top and bottom of that rope are adorned with an infinity symbol. So although one journey (task, achievement) has been completed, another may start.
The circle of life, and living continues
Here's a thought for you to ponder:
When you look at the Major Arcana as the Fools journey, your life or anyone else's life, and the World card, as the end of that journey (the last card), it is not death that presents itself but a continuation of life ...do you believe in life after death?
