The Magician
Let's continue in our journey looking more deeply at the Major Arcana of the Tarot
The Magician has been assigned the number "1" and he/she represents all that is possible, the beginning of all, of everything.
The Magician represents our ability to master, to control, all the element of life, balancing them to keep our lives moving in harmony with our desires, with our circumstances
As we grow up and are influenced by parents, friends, and societal rules we can lose these abilities (or think we have lost the ability). We are told how to act, what to believe, and even constrained by rules and "norms" in to believing what we can and cannot do... made to believe we can't do certain things. But the truth is WE CAN
Notice how the figure in this card has one hand pointing up and the other pointing down. Have your heard the phrase "as above, so below"? We are connected to spirit, to the universe, energetically so yes, we do have the ability to master all areas and elements and if our own lives. We are creators in our own right
This card shows up in readings when we need to be reminded if this very real fact
