Fat loss in my opinion is much more important than weight loss. When I started my weight loss journey I weighed about 190 pounds. My starting picture is the second image and right now I am 195 as of my recent weigh in. So despite the fact that my weight has gone up a little bit, I still look vastly different. This is because my body composition changed tremendously, and also the fact that I grew in height and gained muscle while losing fat. I’m also eating healthier and living healthier. If you’re noticeably getting fatter, then I would say to get on the scale, but if you’re losing fat and seeing differences along with other people seeing differences, there’s honestly no need for the scale that often. Another thing for me is that when I used to weigh myself religiously I get really stressed over it and not see any progress cause I was constantly focused on reducing my food so I can see the number go down but then when people started noticing, I lost body fat Even though my weight wasn’t really moving I realized it’s not just about the scale, but also about visible looks.
