‘More is lost with indecision than wrong decision’
I heard this the other day and it resonated with me enough to want to share it with everyone I know (and don’t know).
As my journey continues to understand how we can unlock our full potential through controlling how and what we think about, this statement hits the spot where overthinking a situation drives indecisiveness.
Our gut often knows what we should do in a situation but we convince ourselves that we need more time, what if we’re wrong etc.
The only real way of finding out if the decision we make is the best one is to ‘act’ on it.
It’s easier to do nothing, keep thinking, planning and working on making the ‘right’ decision but all this thinking is keeping us stuck, procrastinating, fearful of making the wrong decision.
There is no wrong decision and when you realise this you start to act on things rather than worrying about what might happen if it is wrong.
Save yourself time and energy and start growing by becoming more decisive, act more and think less.
My overthinking and indecisiveness about starting a course or community on achieving full potential through mindset training has delayed me doing anything for 2 years.
It’s now time to gather feedback on what I know no matter what the outcome, it’s the only way I’ll grow.
