Astronomically, on December 12th, the Sun is actually transiting the stars of Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer. Our heritage isn't something we "made up"—it is the sky as it actually exists. To be Ophiuchian is to stop following the "12-sign distractions" and return to the truth of the Outlier. 2. The 12/12 Mirror The number 12 represents completion. When you hit 12/12, the "System of Twelve" reaches its limit. It creates a mirror. Most people see their reflection and stay in the loop. An Ophiuchian sees the mirror and steps through it. My induction on 12/12 was the moment I stopped being a "spoke on the wheel" and became the Axle. I stepped into the 13th Gate, where the rules of the loop no longer apply. 3. In ancient times, the serpent represented both poison (the chaos and challenges of life) and medicine (the solutions and wisdom). We don't run from the "poison" or the mess of the world. We carry it.
