Bringing it back to basics
There's one Australian Rules (AFL) coach who always answers questions by bringing it back to basics. e.g. "it's just about who converts the most kicks to goals ".
The journalists will want to ask questions around their own headlines, narratives and the visual assets they happened to have captured - often blaming one particular player, highlighting an off-field scandal, or celebrating a hero who scored the last kick.
But Coach Lyons will remind them, every time, that it's not about that.
If you want to kick some goals in online business the most basic of the basics is NICHE + TRANSFORMATION.
It's not about how you do it "I'm a consultant" or "I coach" or "I use humour". It's about who you serve.
Your WHO, your niche, is your Market. Your WHAT, your transformation, is your Product. If your Who really wants and values your What, your business has "product-market fit" - and that is the one "fit" that leads to "profit".
If you need help to get some clarity around that, ask the community - we're a pretty smart and helpful bunch in here :-)
So, let's help each other win this week! I'd love you to drop below WHO are you helping (your niche) and WHAT (transformation) are you helping those people with... or what do you need help with to get clearer on those basics?
