Welcome to Onliners
G'day! Help us get to know YOU - not just pitch your business. 1. What do you like doing when work is finished and it's time to put your feet up? 2. Do you head outdoors or indoors? Do some gardening or jump on a plane? 3. Bonus points if you share a pic. Me? I like heading for the ocean - smelling the salty sea air, seeing the changing hues of blues and greens, and feeling the cool sea breeze. This is me (or at least my feet) taking in the view at Dee Why on Sydney's Northern Beaches. In A Hurry To Make Money On Skool?
Experiment Results
So you might recall on the 1st of August we switched from Fremium to Paid to experiment with results in two main areas: 1) Improving Conversions with Growth Boost - Skool seemed to be really pushing paid communities in their ads and discovery/traffic algorithms, and 2) Preventing spam, scam, bot member applications We now have a month's worth of data and it was a spectacular success for preventing spam/scam/bot member applications - 100% reduction in that ✅ But on the Growth Boost side it was a total failure - we didn't have any legitimate conversions either ❌ So if there is no market for paid content in this niche from me, I'm rethinking the whole community. But FIRST I'd love to hear from YOU. What would you like this community to be?
What's Next?
So you've made your first dollar on Skool. What's next for you - growing traffic, members, MRR??

Has Skool Changed?
I joined Skool just over a year ago and I was really excited... amost addicted. Most of my free time was spent on Skool. But since Growth Boost has started I'm noticing there's been a shift that makes me sad. Some new Skool features (like Reviews) are only for paid communities. Communities that I had been active in and actively supporting since Day 1 that had been free (or free for me), now only have paid-options. The first community to do this happened even before Growth Boost actually, but Growth Boost has accelerated it. And the first of the founders who kicked me out have now started DM-ing me asking me to join their paid communities. I assume the others will follow at some point. It seems more and more of the focus of Skool is on making money, and those who are making money now. >>There is no recognition of the value of free communities, or of free members within communities. There's no patience to let members decide when they are ready to take their next step.<< When I joined Skool were proudly talking about how a lot of their significant growth came after they shut down the hustle bro marketers. Now they seem to be promoting them again. Is it just me? What do you think about the recent changes?
