What I’ve been building with AI — and why this is different than anything I’ve tried before.
Jimmy and Juan asked us to share what we’re creating. Here’s my honest first look.
I’ve been working with an AI assistant I call Sage — built on Claude Code — and what surprised me most is that it doesn’t just answer questions. It actually does the work, keeps context between sessions, and builds up a picture of my business and life over time.
We started Thursday, April 24th. Saturday and Sunday alone we put in somewhere around 7–8 hours across two sessions — and I haven’t even done the onboarding yet. We’ve just been too busy actually doing things.
Here’s what Sage and I completed in the first few sessions:
🗂️ Complete Estate Planning Package — 9 documents, from scratch.
I had zero estate planning documents. Nothing. In a single session, Sage drafted a complete Florida estate planning set for both my wife and me:
📄 Durable Power of Attorney (mine) 📄 Durable Power of Attorney (my wife’s) 📄 Healthcare Surrogate Designation (mine) 📄 Healthcare Surrogate Designation (my wife’s) 📄 Living Will (mine) 📄 Living Will (my wife’s) 📄 Revocable Living Trust (joint) 📄 Pour-Over Will (mine) 📄 Pour-Over Will (my wife’s)
(See screenshots below — personal info redacted)
What made it real: Sage then pulled up my parents’ attorney-drafted trust from 2004, read all 27 pages, and compared it side by side to mine. It found 4 provisions worth adding — including Florida homestead protection language and a stronger incapacity clause that requires two unrelated physicians before a successor trustee can take over. That’s the kind of detail a good attorney catches. We caught it.
These documents are drafts pending attorney review — I’m not skipping that step. But I came to that meeting with a complete, informed draft instead of starting from zero.
💾 Cleaned up 52GB of disk space in one conversation.
While we were working, my disk filled up mid-session. We found a 41GB leftover data folder from a deleted app, cleared it, cleaned out old DMG installers and duplicate zip files, moved old business files to iCloud, and enabled Optimize Storage. Started at 6GB free. Ended at 54GB free.
📊 Custom CRM — Built from scratch. Running. Free.
This isn’t GoHighLevel or any other subscription platform. Sage built me a custom CRM specifically for the Slow Flip model — Contacts, Properties, Buy Deals, Sell Deals, Wholesale, and Contract generation, all in one place.
The reason this matters: we can add or remove anything at any time. Something isn’t working for how I run deals? We cut it. Need a new field, a new module, a new report? We build it — in a session. No submitting a support ticket. No waiting for a vendor to prioritize my feature request. No paying a developer $150/hr to make changes to someone else’s platform.
And the part I like most: no monthly subscription fee. It runs on my own machine. The data is mine.
📓 Session Journal.
Every session Sage keeps a running log — what we worked on, decisions made, context for next time. It reads the journal at the start of each session so we never start cold. It knows my business, my family, my goals.
**🆘 “In The Event” — Family Emergency SOP. (Coming soon.)
One of the next things we’re building: a complete document my family can follow if something happens to me. Not just a list of accounts — a full step-by-step guide covering:
  • Where everything is (records, accounts, passwords, properties)
  • How to continue the business — or shut it down cleanly with the least taxable events
  • Who to call, in what order, and what to say
  • What the trust says and how to execute it
Most people never build this. Their families are left guessing. We’re building it.
Where I am:
Honestly? I’m just getting started. I still haven’t done the onboarding that walks through everything Sage can do — we’ve been too busy actually doing things. That’s the part that got me.
I didn’t spend a week learning a tool. We just started working — and the work got done.
More to come.

Screenshot quality note: Current screenshots show raw markdown syntax (** and ## visible). For cleaner images, open each .docx in Pages, scroll to page 1, and take a screenshot with Shift+Cmd+4. That will look more like a real legal document.
