Joy is also a practice 🌞
There are days when we wait to feel better before doing what makes us happy.
We wait for more time, more energy, fewer worries, or for life to feel more organized. But often, the opposite is what transforms our day: **giving a few minutes to something that brings us joy, even before everything is resolved.**
It might be dancing to a song, walking in the sunlight, creating something with your hands, listening to music that moves you, caring for your plants, reading a few pages, preparing a meal with presence, or simply stopping to breathe.
Joy is an elevated emotion. It expands your energy, softens the way you see challenges, and opens doors to the world. When you are connected to what lights you up, you begin to notice possibilities that once felt invisible. You find more space to create, to connect, and to move forward.
Joy does not need to be loud, perfect, or extraordinary. It can be small. It can be quiet. But when it is chosen with intention, it becomes a way of returning to yourself.
> **Do not postpone what makes you feel alive while waiting for a lighter life. Small moments of joy may be exactly what makes life lighter.**
Let this question stay with you today:
**What can I do, even for just ten minutes, that would make me genuinely happy?**
Share in the comments: **what is one small thing that brings you back to joy?**
