Day 12 is here! We are almost halfway..
Day 12.... I'm telling you, time passes no matter what. It's like yesterday my daughter @Emerald Rollins was just a baby & potty training. And now I am witnessing her with her babies and potty training the oldest. Toddlers are not for the weak๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Eventually he will get it. He is doing awesome & she is too with not loosing her sh*t! It's literally reinforcing the habit and teaching him to control his body by training those muscles with consistency. I took him into the bathroom with me tonight & his potty & said let's go pee pee. Oh my...he did. And he was so proud. And we were too. He got his two m & m's and placed his smiley tokens in the jar! Yay :) ๐Ÿ’ข You're probably like why is she telling us this? Because I have created this community to remind you that it's important for you to take care of yourself and your health. This is almost close to me taking you to the potty with me! Lol ๐Ÿ˜† but that would be weird right?! So I am challenging you to continue creating consistency and those healthy habits. The longer & more consistent you do them, the more they will just flow with you and you will be proud of the results. Either way it will be hard. Showing up and being consistent is hard and letting your health suffer & potentially having to fight for your life is hard. Day 11...Just Breathe!
Day 11- Today let's take a deep breath. Or 2 or 3 ๐Ÿ˜. I've been there where someone said just take a deep breath & just breathe and I honestly wanted to throat punch them. In reality we don't want to be told what to do. But in that moment of stress & distress I needed to be held and told to breathe. ๐Ÿ’ขHave you been there? Can you relate to that? I'm telling you to breathe. You can do it. I'm linking another breathwork technique here. Definitely start with the beginner equal breathwork technique & as you incorporate it and get better at it, then grow and challenge yourself with other techniques. You'll find what your body & mind likes and will gravitate to one in times of stress & distress. ๐Ÿ’ขRecently my body just started doing a technique subconsciously and I didn't even have to tell myself to "just breathe" and a person beside me said "Misty, you're going to have to trust me. Just keep doing your breathing technique and close your eyes if you need to, but trust me." Little did I know that person recognized I was doing my techniques to get through the situation in that moment and they know nothing about breathwork but knew that I practice it. It was automatic. And I was like in this moment I will "JUST BREATHE" & PRAY because that is all that I can control right now. ๐Ÿ’ขNow the "trust me" part is an entirely different post and subject matter, because I do have trust issues. Intermittent Fasting
first post...so being vulnerable...I actually started my reset on 12/29. I've been consistent with my workouts and intentional with my food. However, the scale has been going the wrong direction, and my clothes feel tighter this week. I started reflecting and realized I may be adding too many calories by trying to increase my protein. I've started back with Intermittent Fasting (16/8). That seems to work best for me. What are your thoughts on fasting?
