Phase 1 & 2 Food/Nutrition Guide & Storage
As I was on my journey I had to evaluate my relationship with food. I had a sugar issue and an attachment to sweet tea, specifically from McDonald's. It is wild the amount of sugar that is in so many beverages. Do your research and look at the labels. I cut it out. My last one was on 11/27/2011. Yep, it was a vice and I had to take my power back. Then became the food and being a busy mom of a 2 year old at the time, and a 9 year old who was in private school & active in soccer. So for 5 months we DID NOT eat out except for 1 time at a Mexican restaurant for a birthday gathering. Yes, no fast food, for 5 months. During this time we ate at home or prepped & I made sure I had snacks for the kids and myself. I shed the last 40lbs of 75 total during this time. I promise, if I can do this and sustain for this many years, going through life, grief, separation, divorce, training for various events, college as an adult, new career, my own business, dating, becoming a grandma, traveling, perimenopause, etc....
