Let's Talk Creative Writing - K to 2 Parents, this is for you!
Good afternoon, Oak Lea Academy members! Does your child in Kindergarten to Year 2 ever say: - "I don't know what to write." - "I can't think of a story." - "Can you give me an idea?" If so, they're certainly not alone! One of the biggest challenges young writers face is getting started. I'm currently creating some fun, interactive writing resources to help children generate exciting story ideas and build confidence in their writing. I'd love to hear from you: 💬 What does your child find most challenging about creative writing? - Thinking of ideas? - Starting the first sentence? - Adding detail? - Finishing their story? - Something else? Your feedback will help me create resources that are practical, engaging, and genuinely useful for families. I can't wait to hear your thoughts! 😊
