Hey Nurse Rich family 🤎 I wanted to check in because I know I have been a little quiet in here lately, and honestly life has been moving fast in the best way. Big update… my very first resident is moving into my care home next week, which feels surreal. I’ve been in full preparation mode getting everything ready, balancing a lot behind the scenes, and building something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. Even though I’ve been less active, please know this community means a lot to me and I love seeing Nurse Rich Academy growing. In the meantime, I want this space to be valuable for you, not dependent on me being here every day. Please use the Rich RX tool inside the community if you have not yet. It was created to help you think through your next move, whether you’re exploring life beyond bedside, looking into starting a business, considering an adult day center or care home, or just wanting more freedom and options. Hey y’all! Quick question for everyone in here 👀 Have any of you ever thought about opening some type of senior care business? Things like: • An Adult Family Care Home (running a small care home from your house) • A Residential Assisted Living home • Or even an Adult Daycare Center during the day I’m curious because I’ve personally been involved in two of these models already. I previously owned an adult daycare, and right now I’m in the process of opening an Adult Family Care Home inside my house (will be open this month). There’s a massive need for senior care right now with the aging population, and a lot of nurses and caregivers don’t realize these are actually real business opportunities.
