Date, Cocoa & Dark Chocolate Truffles
I hope everyone is doing well 🤍 I shared photos with a healthy date truffle recipe, along with a little story about how it came to me. You can read the story if you’d like, or jump straight to the recipe and try it out. For a long time, I wasn’t very active. Then life shifted, and suddenly I was moving again - biking, practicing, using my body every day. With that came cravings. Strong ones. Croissants, sweets, anything quick and comforting. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying those things once in a while especially on a cute coffee dates or a slow morning. But when the cravings started feeling constant, almost frantic, I knew my body was just asking for fuel it wasn’t used to needing yet. That’s when I came across the idea of date truffles and decided to make them intuitively, without measurements, just by feel. To my surprise, they became a small anchor. The cacao balances the natural sweetness of the dates so well that even people who “don’t like sweet things” ended up loving them. These truffles ended up replacing those intense sugar cravings. More than that, they brought me back into cooking, into caring for myself, and into sharing something simple and nourishing with others. They’re easy to make, made from healthy ingredients, not overly sweet, and genuinely satisfying. If you try them, let me know what you think 🖤

Intention of the day - Stay true to your values
Everyone has their own perception of this intention for the day. For me it means respecting myself and others around me. Our behaviour is a reflection of our inner selves. I believe that nobody has the right to act in ways that disturbs others, and we should learn to communicate in order to find the best possible solutions. We all have an inner voice that can sense whether we are acting rightfully or carelessly. If no.... man I wish for recovery. We were put on this earth to be guests and to have everything we want, but with the remembrance that we - and others - are all only guests here. All equal with different qualities and strenghts working together. (This is a quote from book 'Reality Transurfing' by Vadim Zeland - I highly recommend everyone to take the time to read it. There is also audiobook on Spotify.) Therefore, we shouldn't accept behaviours or actions towards us that are not coming from a place of pureness. By reminding ourselves that we are equal, uniquely different, and that everybody is living their own reality, many problems will naturally lose their power over us. Know yourself and stand with it. If someone behaves badly towards you intentionally, you have every right to be mad, emotional, or to stay cold towards them. Reflection on our behaviour is something we all need to do, and It’s best done when emotions have settled, allowing us to see clearly without the need to protect or victimize ourselves.
