NotionAI vs Claude
@Alison Simmons now that I have both Notion and Claude, I'm confused about when to use my NotionAI bots and when to use Claude. Any thoughts?
Calendar question
I've finished the Foundations module. I successfully added my Notion Calendar which opens in a separate tab in my browser. At the bottom of the CEO Dashboard template, there is a calendar section - will this be explained/used in a different module or is it not needed based on having the Notion Calendar? Thank you!
When invite Claude to join my Notion AI party
Notion is my frontman. Claude is the backup singer. In this demo, I’m showing you how I use Notion AI first to think through the strategy, tighten the message, and organize the copy before I ever send anything to Claude Code. Then Claude does what Claude does best: handles the technical build, updates the website, and packages the zip file so I can upload it without turning my afternoon into a coding side quest. The point is not to use every AI tool for everything. The point is to give each tool a clear job so your systems stay clean, your brain stays out of the weeds, and your business keeps moving. Watch the demo, what you think you could be doing with Notion AI before moving to an external LLM.

The Outside-the-Jar Clarity Prompt
In this week’s newsletter, You Can’t Read the Label From Inside the Jar, I talked about why brilliant business owners can see the obvious next move for everyone else, then stare at their own business as it came with instructions written in IKEA hieroglyphics. The weekly challenge was simple: Look for the pattern. Where do you keep getting tripped up? Where do you keep losing traction, making the same decision over and over, or carrying around a pile of almost-finished things that may need to be completed, simplified, delegated, or tossed? Simple does not mean easy. Because most people will read that challenge, nod along, maybe even whisper “rude but accurate,” and then immediately avoid it because sorting your own business clutter feels suspiciously like cleaning out a closet. You start with one old task and somehow end up questioning your offer, your calendar, your childhood, and whether you should buy another planner. So I built you a prompt.👉👉 https://www.skool.com/notionai/classroom/47a0c4c3?md=87933f1c25754114bdc05d98d80016dd Not a “tell me your goals and I’ll give you ten generic ideas” prompt. Nobody needs that. This is a coach-style prompt designed to help you sort what is actually on your plate into clearer categories: tasks, projects, ideas, decisions, and distractions wearing a tiny business costume. FUN FACT: I am very good at helping other people sort this out and still occasionally need someone to look at my own list and say, “Alison, that is not a task. That is an entire emotional support project.” Growth is annoying like that.
