A Thought for the Group 💭
We were chatting recently about how notice-writing can sometimes feel heavy, lonely, or just plain boring. What if we added some more fun and connection to the process? 🥳
Here are a couple of ideas:
- Notice Tracker Thread – A place where we can share what notices we’re sending out. That way, we can see the momentum we’re building together and maybe even connect with others working on similar remedies 🤖
- Fun Notice Thread – A lighter thread just for sharing funny or outrageous replies we’ve had, or notices we’ve sent that made us smile.
Think about this: there are 140 of us here. If each of us sent just 1 notice per week, that’s 7,280 notices a year landing on corporate desks! Imagine the energy shift that creates. ⚡
Quick Example
On the 2nd October 2025, I had some fun with a political party (I won’t say which 😉).
- They replied to my GDPR request as the living man by demanding proof of address and ID.
- Their Data Officer (who seemed a bit of an ass 😅) even sent me a cease & desist after I invoiced the printing company for failing to reply to my GDPR request.
- But here’s the kicker: I’d already sent the Office of Executor Proclamation and Cease & Desist 10 days earlier.
- So when he replied to the CAPITAL NAME fiction instead of me, the living man, I sent them a Notice of Remedy for £11m.
