Big Mookie started off as a complete dirtbag at first because of his natural size and strength. as a child he was already one of the biggest children in school so he would use his gifts to take what he wants from people constantly. He would stay like this for a while. He wasn't necessarily violent but he was capable of great Violence. so people knew not to mess with him. And he took full advantage of that. He would often make subtle threats at people if they did something he didn't like or do. Over time when he became a young adult he noticed that at his workplace and other social outings he went to he was mostly feared and not respected so he didn't really have that many friendships or relationship options because once the novelty of dating the big hairy monster faded there was nothing left but a dirtbag. Over time one of his longtime friends eventually left him because they had enough of his bullying and belittlement leaving the big Mookie devastated because the one friend who put up with all of his actions finally broke. Over time he slowly started to change up his attitude by becoming more generous, having humility, being compassionate and treating people with respect if they did the same for him. Eventually he even found new friends and started to look at life a little bit differently. sure he is still capable of great violence and all But he doesn't use that power to get one over on people anymore. Instead he turned his life around by becoming a fitness instructor Using that natural gift of his for something productive and positive instead of selflessly using it for cheap self thrills
