Grant Opportunity
Happy Financial Friday, NMM! 🎉 This week's funding opportunity is for organizations creating meaningful change for women and girls. 📢 Grant Opportunity: COMO Foundation The COMO Foundation is seeking nonprofit partners that are focused on closing the opportunity gap for women and girls through: ✨ Education ✨ Economic security ✨ Gender equity programming Who should consider applying? ✅ Registered nonprofits operating in the communities they serve ✅ Organizations with a clear theory of change and measurable outcomes ✅ Organizations focused on advancing women and girls socially, culturally, and economically ✅ Typical annual operating budgets between $250,000 and $2 million 💰 Grant amount: Not publicly listed, but organizations are encouraged to submit an inquiry to learn more. https://comofoundation.org/partnerships/becoming-a-partner/ 📅 Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so there's no need to wait. 💡 NMM Tip: Even if this opportunity isn't the perfect fit for your organization, take a few minutes to research the foundation. Follow them on social media, sign up for their newsletter, and learn about the organizations they currently fund. Building relationships with funders before you need funding is one of the most overlooked grant strategies. 👇 Drop a comment if you're planning to apply or if you know another nonprofit that should see this opportunity.
💰 Financial Fridays: Funding + Technology Opportunity Alert 💰
Happy Financial Friday, NMM Community! This week's opportunity is a little different because it combines both funding and technology support—two things many nonprofits need to grow their impact. 🚀 The Zendesk Foundation's Tech for Good Impact Awards are now accepting applications! Selected nonprofits may receive: ✅ Grant funding ranging from $5,000–$50,000 ✅ Free Zendesk software ✅ Technology resources to help strengthen operations and expand impact The program is focused on organizations working to: 🤝 Foster Community ⚡ Promote Resilience in Times of Crisis 💻 Create Career Pathways into Tech One key point I always remind nonprofit leaders of is that funders are not only supporting specific programs but also investing in the organization's capacity to achieve impactful results. Opportunities like this can help strengthen both your mission and the systems that support it. 📅 Application Deadline: July 15, 2026 🔗 Learn More: https://techforgood.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6476814314637-What-are-the-Tech-for-Good-Impact-Awards Comment below if you're thinking about applying. #FinancialFridays #NonprofitMissionMillion #GrantFunding #NonprofitLeadership #NonprofitTechnology #TechForGood #CapacityBuilding #SocialImpact

💰 Financial Friday... on a Monday? 😄
Okay, I know it's not Friday, but I came across this funding opportunity and immediately thought of many of you in the Nonprofit Mission Million community. The Awesome Foundation Micro-Grant provides $1,000 in no-strings-attached funding for creative projects that benefit the community. While $1,000 may not fund an entire program, it can be a great way to launch a pilot, test a new idea, purchase needed supplies, or demonstrate community support for a larger funding request. What I find especially interesting is that the Awesome Foundation operates through local chapters. Beyond the grant itself, this could be an opportunity to begin building relationships and partnerships with community leaders and changemakers in your area. Sometimes funding isn't just about the dollars. It's about opening doors to new connections, visibility, and future opportunities. 🔗 Learn more and find a chapter near you: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/grantfunding-communityimpact-socialimpact-share-7470089409741369345-rQOp/ If you decide to apply, drop a comment below and let us know what project you're working on. I'd love to cheer you on!
