New to DIBBS reselling/manufacturing and hitting a wall on pricing. I'm registered, using DIBBS Navigator, and quoting RFQs, but every time I source a part I'm coming in about 50% above the last award price. I've been pricing through retail sites (Grainger, eBay, etc.), and I'm realizing the winners are probably sourcing from OEMs, authorized distributors, or surplus inventory. For those who've gotten past this stage, how did you build supplier relationships as a brand-new reseller, and which commodity areas were realistic to start in?
