Hey fellow Nomads! My name is Keith - I'd LOVE it if you joined my community, I think we're going to build something really special together. To begin this community is for everyone and is family friendly. That said let me introduce myself! I am a United States Air Force Veteran of 8 years, I have two kiddos and two fur babies. After my time in the Air Force, I set out to become a chef and along the way found such a passion for gardening and farming that I decided to pursue my Graduate degree in Sustainable Agriculture. Five years ago, I unexpectedly went through a divorce and have been figuring life out as a single-dad ever since...many times, many nights, I asked myself what do I have to offer anymore? I lost everything in the process. My farm, friends, you name it, life was ripped out from underneath me. Finally I came to the conclusion that it was time to do something for myself and for my kids and I JUST got myself a new Sprinter van and will be living life on the land, outdoors and chasing adventures with the kiddos. I have a lifetime full of outdoor cooking experience, off-grid living, cooking cheaply for the family using fresh ingredients from local farms, as well as being a lifelong artist. I don't know what this will lead to, but I DO know there are probably a lot of people out there, not living the life they had imagined that need a fresh start; that can be intimidating, heck I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit anxious as well. Anyhow, my plan is to create cooking, camping, adventure, and Sprinter-life videos that you can both learn from and enjoy as entertainment as well. Follow along, lets make a community, lets make a family here. If you have any recommendations for what you'd like to learn in terms of cooking, gardening, farming, outdoor living, off grid living, travel, restaurants; please let me know! My van is set to be delivered on May 25th of this year, and in the mean time I will make some introduction videos along the way.
