Seeking Advice from Experienced Content Creators

For Reels and Tiktok, what do you find preforms better - direct on shots of the artist preforming into the camera OR over-the-shoulder or far off shots that let the audience observe the artist more in the studio/environment?

I have noticed a shift in the past year from the former more towards the latter, but its possible that it is just what I have been coming across. I plan to split test this in the coming months to get a definitive answer but I would love to hear your experiences :)
