I just had a meeting with the Creative Director for a recent Grammy Winning Artist
Here’s what helped me get to this position:
  1. This is cliche and common advice but put yourself and your work out there. TikTok and Twitter are great resources for free and easy social media reach. Practice releasing content and putting it in a format that is easily shareable and consumable on each platform. Practice makes perfect.
2. If you are going to be creative, your uniqueness will set you apart from a sea of people following the same trend and abiding by the same rules. Don’t be unique for the sake of being unique and different but please understand following a trend in exact same manner or way as everybody else will not separate you from the crowd. You will simply blend in if you are not contributing your own unique twist to something. You have to make it undeniably yours.
3. Be easily accessible. Make yourself easy to contact. We all use the same internet, people in positions to help you grow don’t use a different form of social media than us. Engaging on these platforms, practicing learning how to operate or how your content works best on their, how to present your content or frame it will allow it to be seen. Once it’s seen don’t be hard to find.
