No matter what kind of creative you are, be it an artist, designer, mix engineer, music video director, marketer, etc, When it comes to valuing your work based on a clients needs, its a good idea to keep this diagram in mind.
If they want something high quality in a short amount of time, it cannot be cheap.
If they want something high quality for a low price, it's gonna take some time as you prioritize work that offers better payout.
If they want something cheap and fast, they can't expect the quality to be good.
Many creatives have trouble seeing the truly value of what they do, and this helps to equate it with the time energy and focus put into their work.
Obviously, one must use their own discernment, but this is a great yardstick in my opinion, helps you to prioritize your energy and not spread yourself too thin without getting enough in return.
