The way forward
Because what we do here sounds so simple, it’s easy to think it won't work. But it’s that simple repetition that builds new neural pathways in your brain. It’s the bridge between where you are now—perhaps feeling anxious—and who you want to be: calm, confident, and in control. We aren’t all the same, and we don't all see the world the same way. But everyone is entitled to feel comfortable in their own existence, and I want to help you get there.

So what's been good?
You might have noticed I asked for 'one good thing' in my first post. There’s actually some fascinating brain science behind why we do that! In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we call this the 'Positive Thinking', it's one of the 3 P's. By consciously looking for what’s working: even if it's just a good cup of tea or a clear commute: we’re training our brains to move out of the 'primitive' survival mind and into the 'intellectual' mind. The survival brain is great for emergencies, but it isn’t very good at seeing the big picture or finding creative solutions. The intellectual brain, on the other hand, is where the growth happens. After 30 years in the holistic world, 3 years focusing on SFH and a lifetime of personal experience, I’ve seen how this one simple habit can start to rewire how we handle a busy week. It’s like a daily workout for your mental wellbeing. So, let’s keep that positive momentum going as we grow this community together. What is one thing you are looking forward to this week?

Bedtime
Well it's time for bed. Feeding the cats and letting out the dogs and going to bed having watched something gentle on TV. I like to go over the events of the day but only the ones that I am grateful for. Glad that I had time to go food shopping, found a parking space near Sally's for couch roll and got away without paying for my 5 mins parking. I am even more grateful for the cat's recovery and that I was able to find the money to pay the vet. I could go on but my great day will be different from yours. What are you grateful for this evening?

Introductions
I suppose my first post should be to introduce myself. My name is Rowena, I am a Holistic Therapist with 30 years experience. I have great interest in both personal and spiritual development and am now ready to see what we can achieve in a community as we learn and grow together. I will be using the tool of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy to further growth in individuals and we can do it both in group sessions and in one to one sessions But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
