In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we call this the 'Positive Thinking', it's one of the 3 P's. By consciously looking for what’s working: even if it's just a good cup of tea or a clear commute: we’re training our brains to move out of the 'primitive' survival mind and into the 'intellectual' mind. The survival brain is great for emergencies, but it isn’t very good at seeing the big picture or finding creative solutions. The intellectual brain, on the other hand, is where the growth happens. After 30 years in the holistic world, 3 years focusing on SFH and a lifetime of personal experience, I’ve seen how this one simple habit can start to rewire how we handle a busy week.
