Welcome to the Hub: Collaborative Leadership in Inclusion
Welcome to a community dedicated to the clinical and practical mastery of the inclusive classroom. Whether you are an educator navigating classroom complexity, a paraprofessional providing essential frontline support, or a parent advocating for your child’s right to progress, you are here because you value high-level systems over temporary fixes. I am a Special Education educator, and I’ve spent my career across every role in this field—from the front of the classroom to the individual support of a student in the trenches. I created this space to provide the tactical framework I know is missing: one that prioritizes clinical data, legal integrity, and human connection. My Collective Goal: Inclusion is not a passive act; it is a professional discipline. Our goal is to move beyond the "chaos" of shifting needs and establish a standard of excellence where: - Educators lead with confidence and clinical precision. - Paraprofessionals operate with clear, data-driven protocols. - Parents engage as informed, empowered partners in the IEP process. How to Begin: 1. Introduce Your Role: Are you in the classroom, supporting a campus, or advocating from home? Share your current focus. 2. Access the Classroom: Begin with Module 1: The Foundation. We establish a common professional language (The "SPED" Decoder) to ensure everyone at the table is speaking the same language. 3. Engage with the Systems: Download the IEP-at-a-Glance and BIP Audit tools. These are designed to bridge the communication gap between home and school immediately. Inclusion only works when the entire team is supported. Let’s move past the burnout and the confusion. Let’s build an environment where every brain is understood and every professional is protected. I’m honored to lead this work with you.
