Yes, you definitely can do yoga home , watching videos (not sure how focused on your practice you could be though… ) however, you should do that ONLY if you know how to practice on your own.
As a teacher I can say with certainty that each asana is a different experience for a different person. This is natural , as our bodies are not the same, and absolutely necessary to understand.
Down faced Dog for example can be done by almost anyone with the correct adjustment, based on their personal abilities and/or limitations (physical or emotional).
