Nature in Mind is an educational platform founded by naturalist, educator, guide, and field biologist Alex Harper focused on helping people build deeper connections to birds, ecology, conservation, and the natural world.
Alex served as Education and Outreach Coordinator for Red Rock Audubon Society and has experience as a hawk watch biologist, contract biologist, compliance monitoring biologist, migration observer, and avian survey technician conducting point counts and bird surveys across the western United States. He previously served on the Nevada Bird Records Committee and has guided in Alaska, Brazil, Antarctica, Mexico, Florida, and the American Southwest. Nature in Mind combines birding, ecology, conservation, and education to help people grow as birders, naturalists, and conservation-minded community members.
