Years ago when I first started learning about narcissistic abuse, I didn't know what I was living through even had a name or that I had been programmed, likely from birth, to keep attracting it to me. But, worse than attracting it was tolerating it. It seemed no matter what setting - work, school, home, community or church, narcissistic people were drawn to me. It felt like having a target on my forehead but not understanding it was there or why. Life just seemed hard no matter what I did with moments of reprieve instead of the other way around.
So, in January 2017, I started studying narcissistic abuse dynamics, conditioning and recovery like my life depended on it because it really did. Determined to demystify my "bad luck," I finally began to understand what happened to me that set me up to be a narc magnet and worked toward de-magnifying myself. This group is for all of those wanting to stop tolerating narcissists and ultimately, feel better without them than with them.
