Mywellbeingtoday, what it is and why it matters?
Every time I asked someone as an individual, in a family, colleagues at work places, at our old boys associations, whether in events such as conferences, workshops, sports arenas, worship places, pubs, restaurants, meetings and on and on, this ONE SINGLE QUESTION, the feedbacks are mostly the same and seems to be far from the ideal answer., and what is the question?: I asked; In the lists of your daily activities in a giving day, and starting from you waking up from sleep in the morning and until you return back to bed in the evening, HOW much of the time in the daily schedules do you set aside to evaluate WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR BODY in a giving day and daily thereafter? NOW, apply the question to yourself, and provide your answer My answer is..................., The feedback answer should be satisfactory to you and to you alone. For me, I want to be honest to myself and my answer was this: I do not set a special time in day to evaluate what happens to my body because i do not feel it is necessary. In the opposite, out of every 10 persons that were asked the same questions, person it is likely that 2 will respond that they actually evaluate but not daily what happens to their body. HERE IS WHY IT IS A PROBLEM AND A DANGER! I realised what we termed as "unwell", starts and develops to a stage of becoming a symptom, from an insignificant stage when nothing is done about. This is not inclusive of accidents or distress because when it is an accident or a condition of distress, action are taken. Mywellbeing@fingertip and mywellbeingtoday tend to encourage and reversed the challenge to self-care we all faced. If it makes sense, do kindly let me have your feedback and what you thought about giving time to assess your wellbeing daily.
