My journey began when I first started off in Offensive Security. As I began learning more about Blue Teaming my interest began leaning heavily towards it. Yes, you can find a lot of course material around Offensive Security and Red Teaming but it's hard to find a structured Blue Team or Defensive Security course work. Ever since I discovered MyDFIR, I have developed skills which are not only essential but beneficial in the Domain. Hands-down the best bang for buck I have ever spent till date.

When I found MYDFIR I was in a rut. I had multiple certifications, done the labs in all the sites from TryHackMe to LetsDefend, and still couldn't complete a CTF. I floundered trying to hunt or triage an alert. MYDFIR was a last ditch effort to see if perhaps the fault was me and not something else. Steven taught me how to develop an investigative mindset. He had a process that forced me to slow down and didn't just teach, but helped me develop an understanding of how to hunt. Worth every penny.

I have been working on the 90 day soc accelerator, it has been a learning experience. Initially, it covered concepts I was already largely familiar with (first month area) but from near the end of the first month onward, it has provided several new lessons that covered topics I was unfamiliar with and practical lessons to help reinforce the lessons. In addition to the lessons, many of the resources can be found consolidated here to make finding new projects to work on and learn from simple.
