🔁 Saturday Build Circle is happening in 13 days
New video up. Saturday vibe code session. ☕️🎶
Hey — Saturday vibe code session is up. We built a Resolution Tracker live on Replit, then demoed the thing I actually want you to try: Zulu Sales Engine. Drop in a prospect's name and company. Zulu pulls together a full intelligence brief — background, recent activity, network, why they'd care about what you sell — in about 2 minutes. It's the difference between sending a cold email that gets ignored and one that gets a reply. 🚀 Sign up and run your first brief: https://www.zuluengine.run/ ▶️ Watch the demo first if you want: https://youtu.be/5_GFT9fcVEY Run it on your top prospect this weekend. Hit reply and tell me what you find. — Alula
From Tax Accounting to Shipping 10,000 Lines of Code a Month
I come from accounting and finance. No CS degree. No traditional engineering background. Last 30 days: ~10,000+ lines of code shipped 120,000+ lines over the past year Not tutorials. Not side projects. Real systems. Live users. I’ve been launching SaaS platforms like vending machines on the internet. Small, focused systems that: • Solve a specific problem • Run workflows end-to-end • Can be deployed fast • Generate value immediately That shift changed everything. Most people think AI = chatbots. It’s not. It’s execution. The real opportunity is building systems that: → do the research → make the decisions → trigger the actions That’s what I’ve been building with ZULU. Not another tool. An engine that removes wasted effort before it starts. Still early. Still messy. But it’s live, it’s working, and people are using it. Building in public. If you’re working on something similar or thinking about it — let’s connect.

Building Sales Engine With AI
I was working on a simple problem: How do you actually build meaningful connections at scale? So I gave that question to my Zulu Claude agent team. A few weeks later — we didn’t just get answers, we built a system. Introducing the Zulu Sales Engine. Think “volunteer army,” but powered by AI. Agents that research, qualify, connect, and engage — without the noise, without the spam. We’re entering a new phase where you don’t need a team to build real infrastructure. Just the right questions, and the ability to execute. Stay tuned.
Quick update for the Lab.
Recently someone reached out and offered to buy the AI + Automation Lab. I took it as a compliment — it means what we’re building here has real value. But the answer was no. The Lab was never meant to be flipped or turned into another subscription funnel. The goal has always been to build a place where people can learn, experiment, and ship real AI systems together. That’s also why the community will remain free forever. The only cost of admission is participation. What I’m more excited about right now is what we demoed on the Builder call today: ZULU Launchpad. Launchpad is the tool we’re building to help members here modernize websites with agentic AI. Instead of just learning about automation, you’ll be able to actually deploy AI workers for businesses — answering questions, guiding customers, and automating operations. My hope is that many of you use this to start your own AI implementation services and make real money helping businesses adopt AI. So the Lab isn’t just a community. It’s becoming a builder network for deploying agentic systems in the real world. We’ll keep building this in public and shipping together. More demos of ZULU Launchpad coming soon. Let’s get to work.

The writing was on the wall.
Latest Post on LinkedIn - I first sensed it sitting in my undergrad audit class after learning about blockchain. A simple thought crossed my mind: If blockchain becomes commonplace, does the world need as many auditors? That curiosity ended up shaping my entire career. First came automation. Firms began removing manual tasks with simple workflows and bots. Then came outsourcing. My last firm built an entire practice in India where many early-level data entry roles went. Now we’re entering the AI phase. Today the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a weak jobs report. At the same time, companies are openly attributing layoffs to AI. Anthropic’s research even suggests a “Great Recession for white-collar workers” is possible. The career ladder many of us climbed — junior analyst → senior → manager — is changing. If you’re early in your career or still in school, my advice is simple: Learn AI. Learn automation. Learn how systems work. Don’t compete against machines. Learn to work with them and orchestrate them. That’s exactly why I created the AI + Automation Lab — a place where people can learn the skills needed for the new workforce. The shift is happening whether we like it or not. The real question is: Will you build the future, or wait for it to replace you? https://www.linkedin.com/posts/alulaz_the-writing-was-on-the-wall-i-first-sensed-activity-7436057868593872896-roUz?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAABTcRhIBjHrdlnHN7PASvzYBMB-WWEYrW0Q
