Why You Don’t Feel in Control of Your Time
Brothers,
Most men think their problem is time management.
It is not.
The real problem is decision fatigue and lack of structure.
Psychology teaches that when your day has no clear anchors, your brain defaults to comfort and avoidance. Islam teaches us something powerful here. Allah Subḥānahu wa Taʿālā structured our day around the five daily ṣalāh. Time in Islam was never meant to be random.
The Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam lived with rhythm. He slept with intention. He woke with intention. He worked with intention. He rested with intention.
This week is not about becoming busy.
It is about becoming deliberate.
Reflection question (optional to answer):
Where do you feel your time disappears the most during the day?
