I started all this out of curiosity and fun — little experiments, a few tracks, then the quiet realisation that some of them actually meant something to me.
So I started sending them out: little dopamines in submarines, joy bombs riding your notifications. Not chasing trends, just hoping one surfaces near you at the right moment.
I’m Hamish “Hame” Lancaster — a Brisbane-based artist, writer and Creative Witch making music to craft reality to. With AI as a creative instrument, I blend electronic music, spoken word, spirituality, humour and everyday life into tiny portals for presence, wonder and mood work.
Think soundtrack, diary, spell and late-night headphone radio.
These days I’m in full Academic Wizard Backpack mode: writing, experimenting and cracking music out of flint-like button pushes on beautifully designed apps.
If something I make gets you tapping your foot, smiling or noticing the magic in an ordinary moment, the submarine did its job.
