Lorraine Mahoney – Voice Coach and Singing Teacher

Over 35yrs experience teaching singing and performing arts. Alongside my private practice I teach in Higher Education at Wilkes Academy, Swindon.
A recitalist and soprano soloist in London and southern England, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany and Gibraltar. Works include Handel’s Messiah and Rutter’s Magnificat and Requiem.
I hold an advisory role for the Speech and Language Therapy sector in Wiltshire hospitals. Previously Singing Tutor at Italia Conti, Woking (until March 2026), Advanced Singing and Vocal Anatomy Lecturer at WAVDA (UWTSD), Cardiff, and Musical Director for Military Wives Choir and my own ladies choir.
I am deeply passionate about vocal health and helping students explore and master different voicing qualities. My teaching specialisms include Belt, Mix, and Legit styles, and I take great pride in seeing my students grow in ability, understanding, and confidence.
