Incapable of being tamed. For some of you, school was great. For others, it was hell. Either way, it didn't stop you from learning. A part of us always hungers for information. That's probably why many of you are here, back at school. Knowledge is the greatest treasure any species can have. The more knowledge an animal has, the more food, shelter, allies, and safety it will find. It is wired into our brains to learn. To learn is to expand your mind. To expand your mind is to explore and understand novel and complex concepts. By thinking complexly and critically, we are able to understand many "WHY" questions: Why do things happen the way they happen? Why do I do the things that I do? Why is all of this important? Coherence. Purpose. Significance. In asking why, we search for meaning. In answering the why, we find our meaning. And when that happens, life lightens, dark times feel shorter... and we feel INDOMITABLE.
