Pre-Market Analysis – Friday 08/07/26
Today's playbook is C/N (Compressed Asia → Normal London), with yesterday finishing as a Complex Trend (CT). The higher time-frame data paints a constructive picture for today. Looking at the two-year study, Friday has the highest Dominant Trend frequency of the week for the C/N setup, but Complex Trend still remains the most likely outcome: - 68% Complex Trend (CT) - 22% Dominant Trend (DT) - 10% Rotation (ROT) The previous New York context also supports directional behavior. After a CT, this setup continues to trend 75% of the time, breaking down as: The last 90 days align almost perfectly with the long-term study: - 75% CT - 15% DT - 11% ROT The last 90 days align almost perfectly with the long-term study: - 10 occurrences - 80% CT - 10% DT - 10% ROT With both the long-term study and recent sample pointing in the same direction, rotation is statistically the least likely outcome today. While Friday does carry the highest DT probability of the week for this setup, the data still favors a Complex Trend over a one-way directional session. Good luck everyone, and trade what the market gives you—not what you want to see.

Pre-Market Analysis – Wednesday 08/05/2026
Yesterday gave us another Dominant Trend (DT). While back-to-back DT sessions are certainly possible, they're statistically uncommon, so I'm approaching today's session with caution. Historically, Wednesday is the strongest DT day of the week for the C/C setup, producing: - 44% Complex Trend (CT) - 33% Dominant Trend (DT) - 22% Rotation (ROT) - On the surface, Wednesday does favor directional behavior. However, the context matters. Looking at the previous New York context, after a DT, the two-year study shifts significantly: - 44% CT - 12% DT - 44% ROT That tells us that continuation DT is actually the least likely outcome after yesterday's expansion, with the market much more likely to either rotate or develop into a Complex Trend. The last 90 days also lean away from continuation: - 14 occurrences - 42.9% CT - 28.6% DT - 28.6% ROT While the recent sample gives DT a slightly better chance than the long-term study, CT remains the highest-probability outcome, and a rotational session is just as likely as another dominant expansion. My expectation going into New York is CT or ROT behavior, so I'll be defensive against any early continuation move. If we see aggressive directional momentum early, I'll be looking for evidence that it's being auctioned rather than assuming we're getting another back-to-back trend day. Good luck everyone. Stay patient and let the market prove its intent.

Pre-Market Analysis – Tuesday, 08/04/2026
There are no high-impact news events on today's calendar, so today's focus is entirely on the auction framework and statistical tendencies. Yesterday closed as a Dominant Trend (DT), which was actually a statistical underdog going into the session. That makes today's setup particularly interesting. Looking at the two-year study, Tuesday has the highest rotational tendency for the N/N setup, with: - 40% Complex Trend (CT) - 0% Dominant Trend (DT) - 60% Rotation (ROT) We're also coming into today after a Monday DT, and historically that context increases the likelihood of rotational behavior as the market works through the previous day's expansion. The last 90 days reinforce that expectation for the N/N setup: - 13 occurrences - 38.5% Complex Trend (CT) - 7.7% Dominant Trend (DT) - 53.8% Rotation (ROT) When you combine the historical Tuesday tendency, yesterday's unexpected DT, and the recent 90-day data, the probabilities are stacked in favor of manipulative, rotational price action. There is still a reasonable chance the session ultimately develops into a Complex Trend, but my focus will be on fading early directional momentum rather than chasing it. I'll be looking for the market to manipulate early before showing its true intent. Good luck everyone. Stay patient and let the auction develop.

Pre-Market Analysis – Monday, 08/03/2026
We've got red-folder USD news today (ISM Manufacturing PMI), so expect volatility around the release. Today's playbook is C/N (Compressed Asia → Normal London). Over the two-year study, Mondays have historically been the weakest day of the week for this setup. While C/N is one of the strongest playbooks overall, Monday introduces more uncertainty, with the day showing: - 25% Complex Trend - 25% Dominant Trend - 50% Rotation That reinforces the broader tendency for Mondays to produce more rotational price action before committing to a direction. Looking at the last 90 days, however, this exact setup has performed very well: - 8 occurrences - 87.5% Complex Trend - 0% Dominant Trend - 12.5% Rotation So, the 90-day data favor's a clean directional day, but with today's red-folder news after the market open and the Monday tendency for rotational traps, I'll be staying out. Good luck to everyone trading today.
