What is the one thing that can turn a perfect ride into a helmet full of cuss words? Bad roads, bad weather, bad riders, weird bike noise, or realizing you forgot your gloves 40 miles too late?

I’ve been riding about ten years and I live in northern New Mexico in the mountains.

Anybody else head out for one quick stop and somehow turn it into a full ride? Gas, parts, milk, doesn’t matter. If there’s a better road, we’re taking it. What was your last fake errand?
