Hi guys, I just joined this community.

I just want to say hi.

I'm a welder from the UK, I have almost 20 years experience, 18 of those predominantly GTAW, and roughly 10 years SMAW, with bits of MIG/MAG in between.

My background is in the oil and gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

I've operated my own Ltd business 3 years now, welding anything and everything that I can bring in my shop.

When the shop work gets slow I pick up the phone and do a few months contracting out to some of my old employers to bring in the cashflow to run my shop and to live.

I'm here to offer advice where i can. Mainly GTAW where I can offer the best help.

Im also here to learn, get pointers from anyone with more experience than me in both business and welding because its hard work growing the shop. Also my MIG/MAG welding is passable at best.

I hope I can help you guys as much as I hope to get in return.
