Welcome
Hey crochet friends! I’m Mo, your crochet companion. This space is where we can go deeper than YouTube. Over there we learn stitches and projects — but here we can talk about crochet, share ideas, ask questions, and explore creativity together. You’ll see things here like: 🧶 crochet tutorials and tips 🧶 behind-the-scenes experiments 🧶 pattern ideas and inspiration 🧶 discussions about technique and design And occasionally… we might unravel a mystery or two along the way. If you’re new here, say hello and tell us: What type of crochet do you love most right now? Beginner stitches? Filet crochet? Freeform? Something completely different? I’m excited to build this creative corner together. Grab your yarn and make yourself at home. 🧶

🧶 Community Update!
Episode 14 of The Stitchery Files just dropped today! This episode features the Cross Stitch, and the mystery continues. If you're new to the series, The Stitchery Files is a crochet mystery where each episode teaches a real stitch while the story slowly unfolds. It’s designed so beginners can follow along while building their skills one block at a time. You can still jump in anytime — the first 13 episodes are already available, so feel free to catch up and stitch along. 🧶 Come for the tutorial. 📖 Stay for the mystery ✨ New in the classroom: I’ve also added a new course — Filet Crochet Masterclass. If you’ve ever wanted to crochet pictures, lettering, or designs using charts, this class walks through how filet crochet works and how to start designing your own patterns. Lots of stitching fun happening right now! Let me know if you’re following along with The Stitchery Files or if you’ve tried filet crochet before. — Mo

🧶 A Little Reminder for My Fellow Makers
Something crossed my mind during my run today. I recently turned fifty, and today was my first outdoor run of the season. By the end of last year, running 3–4 miles felt easy. But every spring I’m reminded of something humbling… you have to start over again. Even though I’ve been doing interval runs on my walking pad all winter, that first outdoor run reminds me that our bodies need constant care. Today I ran about two miles, and honestly… I’m proud of that. It got me thinking about something important for all of us who love to craft. We spend a lot of time sitting, stitching, designing, and creating. While that feeds our creativity, we also need to take care of the body and mind that makes all of that possible. So here’s my gentle encouragement for this community: 🧶 Finish your row 🚶‍♀️ Get up and move around 🥗 Eat real food when you can 🧠 Feed your mind good things I learned this lesson from my grandmother, who lived to almost 97 years old. She walked at least a mile every single day, no matter the weather. Rain, snow, sunshine… it didn’t matter. She just put the appropriate bonnet on and got to stepping. And yes — she had a bonnet for everything: • a rain bonnet • an Elmer Fudd winter bonnet • and a sun bonnet She also ate whole foods every day… even though she was, quite honestly, a terrible cook. But the lesson stuck with me. Take care of your body. Take care of your mind. And keep moving. And don’t forget — the same applies to our fur babies. They need exercise, good food, and someone watching to make sure they aren’t out there snacking on goose 💩poop. 🤢🐶 Mine was out running with me today. And somewhere along the way I realized something else… I apparently now have a gray dog instead of a white dog. I’m still not entirely sure when that transformation happened. I suspect goose poop may have played a role. 😅 Included is a picture of her during our run today. Because the stronger we stay, the longer we get to keep doing the things we love… like stitching together little pieces of joy.
